The Chinese Crested dog is not typically a breed that has issues with barking. These dogs tend to be quite and well behaved. This breed of dog really has to be indoors and around humans all the time. They are the type of dog that can stand being alone all day long.
The best way to cure loneliness is to simply provide the dog with more attention and companionship. If you have this breed of dog and you have to cage it all day then you should consider getting someone to watch the dog during the day. Just by keeping the dog around people, even if it is just sitting on the floor at your feet, will help to prevent loneliness and accompanying barking behaviors.
