Most people would agree with that but wonder just who in the world would teach a puppy that biting is alright. Many people find themselves wanting to play a rough game of tug of war with the puppy. Your German Shepherd puppy wants your approval so it will do its best to figure out what you want and what you do not want. Make sure that when your puppy is playing or trying to get your attention without biting that you are giving it some affection and praises. You want to show the puppy that being nice and gentle is the correct way to grab your attention.
